Ímpetu

Consort of Xiuhtecutli, god of fire. Chantico is the goddess of volcanoes and fire, lady protector of precious personal treasures. According to the Rios Codex (an anonymous manuscript of the sixteenth century) the goddess Chantico is the female deity of fire.
She is depicted with her face in black and red and her symbols were a red snake and cactus barbs. She was associated with heat and bright light and also figured with a bundle of rays on her back.
